First Day of School

Another summer is gone and so comes the start of school. Jenna is going in the fourth grade and has the pleasure of rotating to five different teachers. Jackson is going into first grade and has a whole new level of responsibilities.

The Webb's Not Bummer Summer

The summer for the Webbs was full of various activities. We were definitely trying to have a "Not Bummer Summer." We saw lots of movies, did lots of crafts and enjoyed sleeping in. It was a summer that we probably won't have again. Here are some of the highlights of our summer.

World Series 2010

Jason received early birthday presents. He was able to attend a game for each of the series of post season play at the Ballpark. He even got to attend 2 games of the World Series. Here are some of his pictures. Happy birthday Jason!

This is a cool crowd shot of the guys at Game 3 - October 30th

And the same shot for Game 4 - October 31st - notice Jason watches the Rangers in the same position

Finally a Santa Photo!

So most of you have seen last year's Santa fiasco picture...

About a month ago Jackson started drafting his wish list on the Lego website. At that point we kept telling him that he would have to give Santa the list otherwise he wouldn't know what he wants. So on Thursday we took the opportunity to go to Bass Pro to visit Santa. We did it to avoid the crowds but realized that it could take multiple visits to actually get a Santa picture. Jenna went first and told him want she wants.

Then he walks up and gives Santa his two page list and barely talked to him, but he took a picture. Progress!

And even took another picture with Jenna!

It was at that point that we realized some of our friends were doing the same thing. The boys even went and took at picture together. What a difference a year makes.

Saturday of Games

We started bright and early on Saturday and headed to the State Fair. We met up with our friends Steve and Jenny to head to the Baylor / Tech game. Jason and I even wore green to support the Bears.

Before we headed into the game we were able to go through the Tom Landry exhibit. The exhibit is a prelude to the Super Bowl in Arlington in February.

We had to head a little early to get Jason to the Rangers game.

Unfortantely both the Bears and the Rangers lost. Other than a little more sun than we wanted we had a great time.

Buddies

Jackson had his friend Brendan over while Jenna and Kaitlyn were at Six Flags. They had a blast playing various super heroes or Star Wars characters. Aren't they adorable?

Jenna's Baptism

On Sunday we had the opportunity to watch as Jason baptized Jenna at church. It was such as special day and we were so lucky to be able to share it with our friends and family.

Jenna had quite the audience which included her small group of 2nd graders, both sets of grandparents, her aunt and uncle, cousins, and our dear Sweet Spot family.

Thank you to everyone that came out to support Jenna and our family. We really do cherish your Christian love!

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day Weekend have some family fun. First, we had a small group swim party...

that ended with a sudden 10 minute downpour.

Then on Memorial Day we had a completely indoor Family Day. First we went to play lunar mini golf. It was pretty empty so we could move at our own pace.

Just want to brag that I had 5 holes in one, Jenna had 2 and Jason started getting frustrated because he only had one.

We headed to Build-A-Bear. Jackson got a storm trooper outfit for his bear so that it can match his. Jenna made a stuffed Bevo.

Roller Skating

Jenna and Jackson had the opportunity to go roller skating on Sunday. It was Jackson's first time and he did surprisingly well.

Of course, the younger boys wanted to keep up with their sisters the whole time on the big rink. Aren't they adorable and so sweaty?

Jenna made a guy friend and skated with him most of the afternoon.

Brought up so many memories from all those Saturdays at Eight Wheels as a kid. We were skating to Air Supply and 80's hairbands where the kids were skating to Lady GaGa and Miley Cyrus. So different but yet so much the same.
