The Webb's Not Bummer Summer

The summer for the Webbs was full of various activities. We were definitely trying to have a "Not Bummer Summer." We saw lots of movies, did lots of crafts and enjoyed sleeping in. It was a summer that we probably won't have again. Here are some of the highlights of our summer.

Family Reunions:


Spent a week at G-Mommy and Grandaddy's and met some new friends:


Attended VCC Vacation Bible School:

Played an indoor soccer season:


Spent a week in Houston at Grandma's and Papa's:

And found the simple pleasure of a fake moustache from Kroger's bubblegum machines:

Spring Break 2011

Jenna and Jackson spent the first part of Spring Break with my parents in San Angelo. They rode bikes and even learned how to shoot bb guns with Granddaddy. Jenna apparently is pretty good at shooting at a target.



I went to get the kids so that they could be back for their soccer games. They spent a Friday afternoon with their cousins from Houston.

Jason's parents came up the next weekend to celebrate Grandma's birthday.


The kids were treated to a Sunday at Six Flags with Grandma and Papa.

Webb Family Christmas

After we had the visit from Santa it was a time for all of the Webb family to come together and celebrate Christmas. Quinn and Chloe received motorized scooters from Santa so Jenna and Jackson got to play with their non-motorized scooters.


Even Uncle Eric had some fun on the scooters.


Mid-morning we had the entire family together for lunch. The kids did their own thing and paired up by age.

The two older girls played with the Paper Jamz - in the bathroom of course because that is where the best acoustics are.

The boys put Star Wars puzzles together. Of course, Uncle James and Aunt Jennifer had to finish the puzzles so we could eat, but no big deal.

Christmas Morning!

This year we celebrated Christmas as Jason's sister's house in the Houston area. We put out the reindeer food and some carrots.



Santa was able to find us and this is what we woke up to in the morning.



Jenna got a digital camera from Santa and a scrapbook kit from Mom and Dad.


Jackson got an AT-AT Walker Star Wars Lego kit from Santa and more Star Wars Lego from Grandma and Papa.


And I couldn't resist this picture of my niece Chloe. She was in heaven with her Justice bag and her grown up hat. Too cute!

Thanksgiving 2010

We spent Thanksgiving this year in Houston. It was a quick eat and run for us as we headed to Austin for the game in the cold.

Fall Weekend

This morning we were able to head to The Pumpkin Patch with Grandma and Papa. While it was dusty and crowded, the kids had a good time.

A Week with Grandma & Papa

Jenna and Jackson spent the week with Grandma and Papa right before we headed to Branson.

Grandma and Papa thought it would be fun to take the kids to NASA. All 6 of them. There was a Star Wars exhibit that the kids enjoyed.

M-E-T-S, Mets, Mets, Mets

Most you know that my husband loves basesball. What you might not know is that his favorite baseball team is the New York Mets. Growing up in Arlington he will always be a Rangers fan despite how good or bad they are, but he likes the Mets. Both our kids had Mets outfits as infants. Jason still says that Jenna started crawling because one day I forgot to lay out the clothes for daycare and he put her in the Mets jersey.

Jason's parents went to New York to visit family for the first time in 8 years over the July 4th holiday. Jason's parents found these silly bands for Jackson. I thought they were pretty cool.



That's Mr. Met on the upper left for those who can't make it out.

One day we will get there for a visit to Citi Field. Until then the silly bands will have to do.

Jenna's Baptism

On Sunday we had the opportunity to watch as Jason baptized Jenna at church. It was such as special day and we were so lucky to be able to share it with our friends and family.


Jenna had quite the audience which included her small group of 2nd graders, both sets of grandparents, her aunt and uncle, cousins, and our dear Sweet Spot family.

D.R. TV 2010

This year's ballet theme was "Dance Reflections TV". It was Jenna's fifth year so she received an award at the end of the ceremony.
