Sunday I came home to two kids "washing" the five dishes we had in the sink. Now they were using Bath and Body Works hand soap but they were so proud of themselves for doing the dishes for Mommy. Tonight Jackson wanted to wash them again. If he only knew that in a few years this task won't be "fun" any more.

Birthday Pictures (30 days later)
With the birthday parties and 2 business trips we had a little bit of a challenge getting birthday pictures scheduled in March.

The kids did ok but seriously one day it won't be a hassle for 2 kids to smile and look at the camera at the same time. These are pretty good but I am going to have to invest in Photo Shop so that I can make the pictures look the way they do in my head.
They are a little grainy - our scanner is acting up so please excuse the quality of the scans.

Bluebonnets
Today we took bluebonnet pictures. We didn't get around to taking any last year and with all the rain we had in the fall the flowers were so beautiful along the local street. Jackson was big on sitting on the flowers because at school they read a story about not sitting on the bluebonnets. Figures! Anyway, we still have the memory!

Happy Easter
Saturday morning we drove to San Angelo to celebrate Easter with my parents. This is Jackson during the invitation at my parents' church.

Jenna's Easter style - notice the high heel wedge shoes - so grown-up

An Easter wouldn't be the same without family pictures facing the sun. Here are the cousins.

Here is an outtake of the cousin picture - my niece Reese was doing her "Single Ladies" impersonation.

Granddaddy and G Mommy with the granddaugthers. Jackson decided he was done with pictures.

The White family - this is the best we could do with this many participants

While we were at lunch the Easter Bunny hid all the eggs. Here is the start of the hunt. See a few adults in the mix?

Jenna found a little melted chocolate in her eggs

Disney on Ice
On Good Friday we were able to attend Disney on Ice in Fort Worth. Here are the kids prior to the show near the ice.

Of course our seats were in the nose bleed section since they were $10 tickets but we still had a good view. The kids enjoyed using their binoculars to get a close up view.

Jenna's favorite part was the very merry un-birthday opening. She has been into Alice in Wonderland for quite some time.

Jackson's favorite was the Halloween act with all the villians.

My favorite - the fire on the ice. Only at Disney!

Egg Hunt
The weekend before Easter we had our annual Easter Egg Hunt with our church small group. This year's crowd was a little smaller because lot of our families were traveling.

The kids still had a good time despite the cool weather. Jackson was determined that he was going to return with the same twelve eggs he had when he arrived at the park. While the dads were hiding the eggs Jackson arranged his eggs in such a manner that he could find them.

Of course, he still managed to find one egg high in a tree that had money in it.

Jenna had a good hunt as well

The best part was sharing what goodies they received from the hunt with friends.
