Six Flags
We headed to Six Flags on New Year's Day. It was super cold but the kids had a good time. Jackson was finally tall enough to ride some of the rides without the required parent rider. He rode his first real roller coaster in the Judge Roy Scream. Maybe next time he will brave a few more.
Happy 2010!
Christmas in Houston
Christmas 2009
Once we braved the ice back home from my sister's Christmas Eve Jackson had fallen asleep. Jenna was insisted that we put the reindeer food out. With the snow - I was hoping she would forget that part since Santa's reindeer leave tracks.

So the kids woke us up at 7:30 am screaming that Santa came. They were a little quicker so we barely have any photos of Christmas morning much less video. This is me forcing them to pause so I can take a picture.

Once all the presents were opened they spent the morning playing the various Wii games that Santa brought.

Jason made Christmas shaped pancakes for breakfast.

Since the roads were still a little icy the kids got the opportunity to play in the snow/ice before we headed to Houston. Jackson chose the ice while Jenna chose the snow.
