Gymnastics and Easter Eggs

This weekend was full of events. First thing Saturday morning we had an early soccer game. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal except that it was 30 degrees with a wind chill in the 20s. The girls braved through it and I even gave up my gloves for one of Jenna's teammates that didn't have one. It was the right thing to do but by the end of the game my hands were numb.

Later on Saturday we went to Reese's birthday party at Little Gym. The kids played on the equipment and we got to eat cake.

Sunday was our church small groups' annual Easter egg hunt. The weather was nice enough that some of the kids were able to wear shorts. They had fun finding eggs, playing at the park and having a sack race.

A Weekend in San Angelo

Jackson and I went to San Angelo this past weekend to visit family. My sister and her family were also there. Since my parents were not going to be able to come to Reese's birthday party we celebrated her birthday with a little cake! Don't these kids look like they can't wait to dig into that cake?

Later that afternoon we went to visit my cousin and her little girls. She had twin girls on St. Patrick's Day. They were just too adorable.

My Little Cowboys

Thursday, March 12 started a cowboy theme in the Webb household. Jackson had Western Day at school. He had fun wearing his hat all day.

On Saturday since soccer was canceled due to the rain, we went to the Fort Worth Stockyards. Jenna decided to write her research paper (with visual aid) on cowboys. So we did cowboy things at the Stockyards.

We were in luck that there was a St. Patrick's Day parade while we were there and Radio Disney was there so it was more fun for the kids. All in all we had a good time on a little mini-adventure.

Happy Birthday Jackson!

Today my little boy turned 4 years old. My little super hero thought he turned four on Saturday and didn't like it when anyone told him he was still three. Happy birthday super hero Jackson! We love you!

Happy Birthday Jenna!

Today my little girl turned 7! I can't believe that she is that old but she is. Today was Jackson's birthday party so she spent most of the day at his party. Yesterday at school she got to be on the morning video announcements. At dinner she got to ride on the saddle at Texas Roadhouse.

At soccer this afternoon she got to be captain and call the coin toss.

She had quite the fan base today. Grandma, PaPa, Granddaddy, G Mommy, Rylee, Reese, Uncle Brad and Aunt Dee Dee all came to watch her play.

Of course, Jackson was busy playing with all his superheros.

Happy birthday sweetheart!

A Super Hero Party

Today we celebrated Jackson's birthday with his friends with a Super Hero Party. He couldn't decide if he wanted Spider-Man or Batman so we went with a multi hero theme. Everyone got a cape and mask.

Here is Jackson and his cake. It was hard to get him to sit still long enough to actually get a good picture but I guess that is normal for 4 year boys.

It was so windy that we were able to fly some kites on the playground. Everyone had fun trying to keep the kite in the air.

The Tooth Fairy Needs a Bailout

Jenna lost another tooth yesterday. This time on the bottom. It isn't a surprise since three of her permanent teeth are on the bottom. All I have to say is that the Tooth Fairy is going to need a bailout if this keeps up!

Happy Birthday Reese!

Reese turned 3 years old on Sunday. Happy birthday Reeser!

The Bazooka's

Jenna's soccer team played the Bazooka's on Saturday. They had two really good players with very powerful kicks. Jenna had her first soccer injury when she took a bazooka kick to the face. She recovered well and went back in after the sting wore off. And Mom and Dad did good on the sideline not interfering with the Coach.

First Soccer Game

Jenna started soccer this Spring with GLASA. Last Spring we did Upward Soccer because it worked with the Saturday ballet lessons. Her first game was February 21st. She played hard and even made a goal. The first win for the Pink Dragons!

First Grade Performance

On Tuesday, February 17th Jenna performed with the rest of the first graders. They sang several songs and recited three poems. My parents were in town watching my nieces so they were able to watch her performance. Jackson and my Dad took an alternate route to Bass Pro instead of attending.

Dinner before the show - aren't they such hams?

Valentine's Party

I was off work on Friday, February 13th so I was able to attend Jenna's school Valentine's party. They had a M&M straw contest, ice cream floats and a conversation heart contest.
