Disney Day 3 - Magic Kingdom

Our second day at the park was Magic Kingdom. This was the day that we accomplished the most. We did one park, took our snack breaks and didn't have to leave for our dinner reservation. We hit the ground running but this was the first thing we saw when we entered the park. Doesn't it get you in the spirit of Disney Christmas?

We did all the Fantasyland things first - Dumbo, Peter Pan, It's a Small World and of course the teacups. This is the site of our first lost item. We lost the CD case for our video recorder. The great thing about Disney is that people turn things in. It arrived last week free of charge from the Vacation Kingdom (aka Lost and Found).

Then we headed to Tomorrowland. We didn't have time for most of the big rides because we had lunch reservations, but we did ride the cars. Grandpa told Jackson that red is a fast car. I rode with Jenna since Jason was doing Fastpass duty for after lunch. She did really good but would randomly say that she hasn't had driving lessons so this is really hard or I am kid, I am not suppose to know how to do this.

We had lunch with the Winnie the Pooh characters. We had a small world episode at lunch when we realized that we were sitting next to Jenna's locker mate from Kindergarten. He is currently going to a different school in Flower Mound but it made Jenna's day to see someone she knew. Caught the 3 pm parade en route to our next adventure.

After the parade we headed to Adventureland. We did the Jungle Cruise, waiting for the Tiki Room to be fixed, decided to come back later, and hit the magic carpets. As you can tell Jackson is controlling the ride much to Grandma and Grandpa's surprise.

Then while Jackson had a potty break Jenna learned how to be a pirate with Captain Jack Sparrow. She was one of four selected so we had a great spot to see her perform her pirate tasks. So what do we do to finsh the pirate theme? We ride Pirates of the Caribbean.

Walked back over to the castle for the castle lighting. Isn't it beautiful. I keep telling Jason, there aren't enough lights on our house.

Jenna's favorite ride is Splash Mountain so we headed to Frontierland. All six of us rode it on the coldest day of the year in Florida. Of course, Jenna and I are in the front. I think my rear end is still drying off. Ate some dinner and then we used our Fastpass to Big Thunder Mountain. It was pitch black and I must say it is a little scary at night because you can't see the twist coming. To finish the day we rode the Astro Orbiter while everyone else in the park watch the night parade. Then we headed down main street to watch the first fireworks of the evening. Of course by this time Jackson was asleep in the stroller but Jenna enjoyed them. Stay tune for more our adventure.
