Our friend Tim is also known as "Texas Tim" during the football season because of the face paint and his famous Longhorn 3D hat. Texas Tim and Longhorn Laura have two boys, Timothy and Andrew. Timothy is 4 years old and has a rare form of muscular dystrophy called Duchenne's. For those not familiar with this disease Duchenne's causes muscular deterioration and typically by age 6 or 7 they can't walk and the disease is always fatal.
Texas Tim is running in the Austin marathon to raise money to help find a cure this Sunday to raise $15,000 for research. I have attached a link if you feel God wants you to donate. Pray for Tim as he runs this marathon in the downtown/campus area of Austin. Tim and Laura are strong Christians that have praised God all along the way of this path that God has given them.
