On Wednesday we had some high winds that may or may not have been a tornado. I don't know if it was because I was hiding in Jackson's closet with a beanbag, cell phone and a dog. The kids were at my parents for the week and Jason was still working. I don't do well by myself in these situations but we survived with very little damage. Lots of God moments here. First, the only part of our tree that is standing is the part that would have fallen into our bedroom. Second, we have the biggest backyard in our neighborhood (we know because we pay for it every year in taxes) so when the tree fell, it landed only in our yard. And third, the only major damage was the side fence and was caused by our neighbor's tree. Let's hope this is the major storm of the season and we will not see this weather for a while.

Wow, that's some damage! So glad you're safe and that you weathered the storm well on your own. How scary!
Girl, you have done some major blog posting while the kiddos were out of town!
I think I am officially updated! :)
Hope you had time to work on the fence today.
